When i was little, Remembrance Day was just another stat holiday. I never gave much thought about the real meaning until I am older. Perhaps it has to do with visits to war memorials and reading about WWI and II. I am now more informed on what really happened during those times. This sounds really lame, but I feel very lucky to live in a peaceful era. No one wins in a war, and it does nothing other than revealing the ugliest and darkest side of humans. Anyways, always remember what this day mean to us and give peace a chance!
