After the Rain

Wow finally the rain stopped! I dont believe this dreadful weather lasted for so long! We deserve summer-like weather and not crappy days like the last few days. Calgary decleared state of emergency for the first time ever, and the situation seemed quite serious. It's kinda neat to go watch the rivers, cuz water level's so high and flowing so fast. Too bad the water is muddy and gross, or elese it would've looked nice. Feel sorry for the folks who lives in Mission. I really like the community and thought of buying an apartment there. Now i guess i'll have to think twice cuz water damage can be quite costly. On a side note my ensuite toilet seem to be clogged for some reason :( No matter how much i try unclogging it with a plunger, it is still not flowing like the way it should. I wonder if it's got to do with all the sewage problems other ppl in the city are having. Gee i sure wish there wont be any sewage backup, cuz ... that'll be quite screwed. I gotta go to Home Depot 2morrow perhaps and figure out what to do next. City officials are asking people to lower their water consumption. Hmmm they have to provide us with water, i need a bath every day! :( Just in case I am gonna stock up on water at Culligan tomorrow.

Other news, i forgot to turn off the lights to my car on Friday. It was raining like crazy that day, so i had to turn on the lights for safety. I only left it on for an hour or so, and the next thing I know, my engine wont start! I had to call AMA to give my car a boost. The guy came quickly altho i was initally told to wait for 3 hours or so. Actually "the guy" was a man that looks quite old (and i am surprised that he's doing this job at such an old age!), but what a friendly dude! It was an easy job anyway and it didnt require much work (which is nice, cuz i wouldnt want him to hurt his back or something!) Anyways, may God bless him and hope he retire soon.

Ok not much to write about beside these and let's just hope i find a good solution for my toilet. I am not gonna use it for the next 2 days and see what's gonna happen.
